Less than two weeks to go – all the essential info here!

It is just two weeks now till we host the 2026 Surf Life Saving National Beach Championships at the ‘Bay of Dreams’!

Running from 15 – 22 August, the week kicks off with Masters, then Youth and finally Nippers to round-up the event.

Thousands are expected to compete and support over the week, so the team has been busy spending hundreds of volunteer hours creating something incredible for everyone to experience.

SS Francia  – a bar sponsored by Rattler and named after the famous Holywell shipwreck – will be open all week. Special guest appearance from Shorefire, Emily Howard, The Strutts and Emily and Luke Spurrell – plus hip hop karaoke, Silent Discos and more for daily apres-surf entertainment! Times and schedule available at the event entertainment webpage here.

Pizza, BBQ and breakfast will be available alongside a cafe every day.

The event raffle is now live with amazing prizes from Dryrobe, Unique Homes Stays and Billabong among many others. To buy tickets click here. Merch is also available on pre-order – check out our website – https://www.holywellbayslsc.co.uk/shop/. Please note that no t-shirts will be available during the event – but you can order them for delivery afterwards.

Club Chairman Steve Peck said:

“Huge thanks to everyone involved in bringing this event together – we have been overwhelmed with the amount of energy and goodwill to get us to this point. We have had some incredible prizes donated to the raffle, huge thanks to all those who have supported!

“Special thanks to Stride Treglown for the amazing film produced to help us find our missing frame for the main stage – if you know, you know! Check out our social media if not!

“We hope everyone feels welcome to come along, watch and enjoy the event village – even those new to the sport. Maybe even feel inspired to sign up – no matter your age!”
