2026 Nationals – That’s a wrap!

What a week!

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and made the National Surf Life Saving Championships at Holywell Bay so special.

Congratulations to all our winners and medallists – but also to every single person who took part. Whether you were a seasoned competitor, a first-timer, making your Nationals debut, or returning after many years away, we hope you enjoyed every minute of it.

It’s not just about the results. It’s about getting on the sand, getting in the water, having a go, supporting your clubmates and being part of the surf lifesaving community.

And of course, none of this would have happened without an incredible crew behind the scenes.

A massive THANK YOU to all the officials, judges, water safety teams, coaches, team managers, volunteers, event crew, organisers, sponsors, supporters and everyone else who gave their time, energy and expertise to make the championships happen.

From the early starts to the long days, the set-up, the pack-down, the calls, the marshalling, the scoring, the logistics and everything in between – you were the engine behind the event.

To everyone who travelled to Holywell Bay, competed, supported, volunteered, cheered from the beach and helped create such a brilliant atmosphere – thank you, thank you, thank you!

We hope you leave with some great memories, new friendships and a few stories to tell.
