About our Club
A club run by the community for the community.
Our club is the meeting place for over 200 members who all blend together to form a cocktail of Fun, education, physical activity and social spirit.
We operate 12 months of the year, and have become a very balanced club with thriving Nipper, Junior and Senior sections. There is a real sense of pride within the club, on Saturdays we all come together to teach sea safety. Through training with the club, you will learn how to save lives in the sea. We will teach you the skills needed to qualify as a beach lifeguard. From CPR and resuscitation, to board paddling, signals and rescue techniques. Once qualified there is an opportunity to volunteer on the local beaches in the summer season with the RNLI service.
We are open to anyone, no matter what ability or goal. The club is affiliated to Surf Life Saving Great Britain and is a registered charity. We are the largest club in the local area and proudly supported by the Parish Council and many local businesses.
We try to be a very sociable club and run many social and fund raising events throughout the year. Please support us in our efforts, so that we can continue to provide the best possible club environment for our club members.
